Raspberry Leaves (Rubus idaeus) have been used since ancient times to strengthen and tone the tissue of the uterus, assisting contractions and to check hemorrhaging during whelping. Humans used Raspberry Leaf first on themselves and in time began to trust it to aid in the birthing of their companion animals. After whelping it has also successfully been used to improve the quality and quantity of the bitches’ milk, to reduce swelling, and retard postpartum bleeding. Suggested feeding rate: approximately 1 tsp. per 25 lbs. of body weight daily mixed in food. Maximum 3 teaspoons daily. 6 ounces of powder has approximately 90 teaspoons.
